ABOUT GREG:

GREG POWER received his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Washington State University (2015) and his Master of Music in Percussion Performance at California State University – Northridge (2018). He is currently the front ensemble coordinator for POW Percussion and on the battery staff with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle corps. 

Greg moved to SoCal to perform with Pulse percussion and has since taught at many high school programs in the area. He currently teaches the front ensemble at Los Alamitos HS and full percussion at La Canada HS. Greg was a DCI quad tech at the Colts in 15’, a quad tech at the Blue Stars from 16’-18’, and the front ensemble coordinator for Golden Empire in 19’. He has taught at POW percussion for 4 years. 

Greg is a member of the Vic Firth Educational team and resides in Pasadena, CA teaching private lessons in Rudimental drumming, Drumset and Mallet percussion.
